As our Sr. Learning and Development Guru, you’ll be the mastermind behind our epic learning and development journey. You’ll craft learning experiences that are as engaging as they are enlightening, helping our team members reach new heights of awesomeness!
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Dive deep into the organization to uncover the strategic future for talent development and our employee’s learning needs and desires.
- Wave your magic wand to conjure up captivating training materials and resources that leave team members spellbound.
- Cast your spells during training sessions, workshops, and learning events, enchanting participants with your knowledge and charisma.
- Channel your inner alchemist to transform feedback into gold, constantly refining and improving the development and learning programs.
- Summon the wisdom of the ancients (or just consult with subject matter experts) to ensure our training content is top-notch.
- Keep our learning kingdom running smoothly by maintaining our learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Lead, drive, and shape the strategic plan for talent development in support of the company strategic plan, Key Performance Indicators, and Key Development Indicators (competencies)
- Strategize, develop, manage, and implement improvements to Leadership Training program, Leadership Launch, Leadership Development Roadmap program, and the IMT Connect experience.
- Design, develop, and deliver growth opportunities to employees in modalities including instructor-led training, online, blended learning, book clubs, etc.
- Lead the development of performance goals and measures that drive employee performance.
Continuous Improvement
- Continually evaluate all learning and development programs effectiveness and use evaluations to inform future strategic decisions.
- Identify training solutions and partner with vendors to satisfy overall training and development program needs.
- Support the development, maintenance, and use of competencies (KDIs) within the organizational structure and for all levels of employees.
Analyze and Plan
- Analyze and solve business problems through HR-based solutions that effectively utilize employee capabilities.
- Lead the planning, implementing, and producing monthly Leadership Forum meetings to drive leadership strategy.
Consultation
- Provide advice and consultative services to leaders and employees.
- Coach employees and leaders to assist them in improving their performance and realize their desired impact.
Expertise and Administration
- Must stay abreast of new training methods and determine relevancy to company employees.
- Act as the main administer of IMT University.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years’ experience with learning and development, organizational development related work experience
- Accredited HR designation preferred; (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to build relationships and deal with conflicting points of view.
- Must demonstrate integrity and fair-mindedness, always demonstrating ethical conduct.
- Strong project management through excellent organizational, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must have good leadership talent and be able to constructively challenge customers by asking questions and influencing them to confront difficult issues.
- Must demonstrate integrity and fair-mindedness.
- Comprehensive computer skills and knowledge of insurance are required with the ability to be very detail oriented while maintaining accuracy.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $97,000.00
Starting salary and level of position will depend on level of experience
