ALLOCATION SPECIALIST

IMT Insurance is looking to fill the role of Allocation Specialist to provide support to Commercial Lines Underwriting staff. This individual will be responsible for reviewing customer correspondence from agents, policyholders, and co-workers to determine routing and prioritization of work. You will also maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal and external customers and meet department customer service standards. A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for setting up and sorting work into specific jobs in the workflow system.
• Responsible for file set-up in the workflow system.
• Perform mail preparation and distribution including returned mail.
• Delegate quote and new business applications according to team workflow assignments and perform corresponding tracking for reporting.
• Assist other Commercial Lines divisions with workflow system filing and organization.
• Assist District Underwriters with true and certified policy requests from the Claims Department.
• Assist Commercial Lines management with various reporting functions.
• Allocate IMT website public contact messages for the Commercial Lines Department to the needed team members for review.
• Order office supplies for Commercial Lines.
• Review, allocate, and track 2^nd request follow-up emails from agents.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for record retention and destruction.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the Commercial Lines Department.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to pay close attention to details in processing and proofing work activities.
• Possess a basic understanding of all commercial lines of business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Possess strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate workflow system, mainframe systems, Microsoft Office Products, and function in a personal computer network environment.
• Must possess the ability to work well with others.

The salary range for this position is $37,000.00 - $46,000.00

Starting salary will depend on level of experience

This position is not eligible for tips or commission but may be eligible for additional bonuses
